Q) What sort of work I may do with you?
A) You would be researching and writing academic reports for our customers. All the research resources are internet based. You will never have to go to an offline resource such as a library to conduct research. You will be trained extensively before you start the work with us.
Q) How much do I get paid?
A) You will be paid on a per page basis. Each page will consist of 500 words in single line spacing. The rates are disclosed once you are selected to write for us.
Q) How do I get paid?
A) You will be paid monthly through cross cheques mailed at your preferred postal address.
Q) How often do I get work?
A) There is no hard and fast rule; it depends on the time of year, the subject and whether your work is impressive enough to warrant further assignments. Your first piece of work is often crucial. If we don't like what we see then we are unlikely to offer you another piece again. The critical factors in winning the work are prompt communication with the administrator and the customer and off course the quality.
Q) How much can I make working as a part-timer?
A) It only depends on your capability. We have at the moment 40 online freelance writers from Pakistan. 22 of them are getting 15,000 Rupees monthly working on average 3-4 hours in a day. 12 are getting 20,000 Rupees or above monthly working on average 4-6 hours daily. 6 are getting 35,000 Rupees or above working full time for atleast 8 hours in a day.
Q) How do I apply?
A) Becoming a member of Writers Mania is easy. You just have to send your resume at hr@writersmania.org. Then you are prompted to take an online screening test. On successfully passing the screening test you are prompted to submit your profile. As soon as you submit the profile, an account is created where you have to read the training material. After reading the training material you have to attempt and clear a final test to start working with us.
Q) How long does it take to get work if my application has been accepted?
A) We have a totally automated HR system. As soon as you email the resume, you are prompted to take an online screening test in reply of the email. If you clear the screening test you are prompted to submit the profile then and there. On successful submission of the profile, an account is created where you have to attend the training program. To the point of account creation it will only take ONE HOUR AND FIFTEEN MINUTES maximum. Normally on average a writer takes 2-3 days to read the training material before attempting and clearing the final test. So sum it up, it should not take more than 4 days to start working with us.
Q) What is the training like?
A) Training involves nothing but reading and learning certain material in your personal account. After reading the training material you will understand what is required from you and how are you going to do it?
Q) What will happen if I don’t clear the screening test?
A) Candidates who are not able to pass the test can not submit their profiles and hence their hiring process stops.
Q) I have cleared the screening test but did not submit my profile, how can I submit it now?
A) If you have cleared the screening test but not been able to submit the profile, you can do that by clicking here. On clicking this link you will be directed to Screening Test page. Please insert your Name and Email at "SUBMIT YOUR PROFILE" form. On entering your Name and Email, system will check whether you have cleared the test or not. If you have cleared the test you will be prompted to submit the profile. Please enter the same email you entered last time before taking the screening test. No candidates can submit the profile, who did not pass the screening test.
Q) Is your service legal?
A) Yes. We help companies and individuals with copy righted research on anything they like. If they then pass it off as their own, for example publish it or place it on a website then that is certainly illegal and we have and will continue to take action to protect our copyright.
